News Reporter – Bracebridge, ON
We are currently hiring a News Reporter in our Bracebridge Moose FM newsroom. Our ideal candidate is comfortable writing online and radio news, recording news casts and becoming a member of the community.
About the Job:
This is a full-time news reporting position, and you will be writing and recording stories for both MyMuskokaNow.com and our daily on-air newscasts.
Description:
Be an active part of the community
Craft and voice local and regional newscasts
Researching and writing news stories for online and on-air broadcast
Contributing to and updating websites
Key Requirements:
You must have a valid driver's license
Solid on-air delivery skills with a desire to learn and improve
Experience working in a newsroom or equivalent journalism background is an asset
You offer strong verbal and written communication skills
Meet daily deadlines
Working familiarity with Adobe Audition, Newsroom, and on-air software
