Blackburn Media Inc. has a rare opening for aCommercial Producer to join our production team inChatham, supporting our radio stations acrossSouthwestern Ontario. This is a key creative role responsible for transforming written commercial copy intoeffective, well-produced audio that meets client objectivesand station standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Creative Writers and Sales toproduce compelling, effective commercials forour clients accurately and on time

• Record, edit, and mix audio to create polishedcommercial messages ready for broadcast.

• Direct and coach voice-over talent, includingannouncers and clients, to achieve the desireddelivery.

• Maintain organized sessions and file managementwithin Adobe Audition and company systems.

• Provide occasional vacation backup and/or otherproduction support.

• Represent Blackburn Media professionally atoccasional station or client-related events.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the CreativeManager.

Ǫualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant audio or commercial productionexperience.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Adobe Audition; familiarity with WideOrbit, CS Producer, or CS Writer is an asset.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Creative, andProgramming teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong listening skills and acommitment to producing high-quality work.

• Positive, team-focused attitude.
