On Air - Edmonton AB

Join the team at Shine FM Edmonton and help bring positive, encouraging radio to our listeners across Alberta. We’re looking for a passionate and creative host who loves connecting with people, sharing great music, and creating meaningful on-air moments that reflect our family-friendly, faith-based mission.

This role goes beyond the microphone. The ideal candidate will contribute to programming, promotions, and community engagement, helping plan on-air content, support station events, and represent Shine FM throughout the Edmonton area. If you’re a strong communicator, a team player, and excited about using radio to uplift and inspire, we’d love to hear from you.

Your day-to-day

• VT a daily show Monday – Friday for multiple markets

• Additional live and VT shifts as required

• Executing on-air contests and engaging with listeners

• Make personal/promotional appearances on behalf of the show/station in the community

• Help with promotions (prizing/ events etc.…)

• Editing and maintain music logs

• Help with additional programming, creative writing and productions as required.

Your qualifications

• Some on air experience

• Ability to relate, and speak, to females 25-49

• Fun, upbeat, calm and natural personality.

• Creative, timely and up to date on current events, but you also understand that real life makes great radio.

• Great with listeners and clients

• Great team player
