Promotions Assistant – Q104 & 96.5 The Breeze

We are currently looking for a Promotions Assistant to join our Halifax, NS team! This position reports to the Director of Programming – Maritimes.

As an integral member of our Promotions team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with two of the most exciting music formats in Halifax, putting them front and centre in the marketplace.

Your day-to-day

Lead a team of Brand Ambassadors – and help them represent our brands by setting the example of how it’s done.

Create sales and programming promotional packages

Manage social media platforms, making them work for both the radio stations and our clients.

Local maintenance of the radio station websites

Attending various internal meetings includingthe promo and programming promo meetings

Attend client meetings related to promotional executions

Attend major station/client promotions and events

Generate Promotional Wrap Reports for the sales team

Perform other duties as assigned

Your qualifications

Experience in dealing with the public

Detail-oriented

Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills

Great team player – you thrive in a collaborative environment

You know that radio isn’t a 9-5 business, and have the flexibility to make projects happen whenever they need to happen
