Promotions Coordinator – Q104 & 96.5 The Breeze

We are currently looking for a Promotions Coordinator to join our Halifax, NS team! This position reports to the Director of Programming – Maritimes.
As an integral member of our Promotions team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with two of the most exciting music formats in Halifax, putting them front and centre in the marketplace.
Your day-to-day
Coordination of promotional, sales and programming campaigns
Manage and maintain promotional prizes and oversee the winner fulfillment process
Organizing station events (i.e., trips, grand prize giveaways, movie premieres)
On-site activations (i.e., concerts, trade shows, on-air cut ins, live broadcasts, community events)
Oversee the hiring, coaching and supervision of brand ambassadors
Attend and participate in weekly meetings and brainstorms
Creating wrap up reports for station events, promotions and campaigns
Assist in the creation of graphic designs for station and promotional initiatives
Assist in maintaining station websites and social media as required
Overseeing station vehicle maintenance
Other duties as assigned.
Your qualifications
Experience in dealing with the public
Detail-oriented
Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills
Great team player – you thrive in a collaborative environment
You know that radio isn’t a 9-5 business, and have the flexibility to make projects happen whenever they need to happen
A valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
