Exciting Changes to Corus Radio and Global News

Beginning March 16, Ben O'Hara‑Byrne will join Global News BC as Legislative Anchor and Reporter, based in Victoria. 

Viewers may recognize Ben from Corus Radio, where he has spent the last several years hosting the national weekend political program Conversations With Ben O'Hara Byrne. Ben has over two decades of journalism experience, with a focus on political reporting. He worked in Global News' Parliamentary Bureau, reporting from Ottawa, and served as an international correspondent in London and Beijing. 

This new, exciting role means Ben will be stepping away from the airwaves. As such, we are thrilled to welcome seasoned broadcaster Rob Fai as the new host of our national weekend morning show. The show will continue to focus on delivering the most current and up-to-date news to listeners, with live call-ins, debate, and colour commentary. Listeners can tune into hear Rob beginning the weekend of March 21.
