Acadia Broadcasting is growing, and so is our regional news team in New Brunswick. We operate radio stations across Atlantic Canada and Northwestern Ontario — and in every one of our markets, we’re proud to be the community’s go to source for news, entertainment, and everything happening next.

Now, we’re looking for a Multimedia News Reporter in Saint John, NB who can bring energy, curiosity, and creativity to our audience every single day.

What you’ll be doing:

Crafting engaging, hyper-local stories for our community portals

Writing for radio in a voice that’s conversational, clear, and made for audio

Pitching and writing daily story ideas that help shape our coverage across every platform

Chasing leads across town, across platforms, and across timelines — phone, in-person, social media, email… you’ll use it all

Participating in our rotational weekend on-call schedule (because news doesn’t take days off)

What we’re looking for:

Strong interviewing, writing, and editing skills for both digital and broadcast

Solid understanding of the CP Style Guide

A self-starter who thrives under pressure and can meet tight deadlines — including breaking news outside the 9to5

A Journalism or Digital Media diploma — or equivalent experience that proves you know your stuff

Experience with newsroom software (Burli is a bonus!)

A valid driver’s license (the news won’t always come to you!)
