Vista Radio Appoints Joe Gabor as President

Courtenay, BC – June 1, 2026 -

Vista Radio’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Gabor as President of Vista Radio, effective June 1, 2026.

The Board would also like to recognize and thank former President Bryan Edwards for his vision, dedication, and passion in leading the company known today as Vista Radio. Edwards will continue to serve as a Director on Vista Radio’s Board of Directors.

Since joining Vista in 2019, Gabor has played an increasingly important leadership role within the organization, most recently serving as Vice President, Business. Prior to that, he served as Director of Business and Digital Innovation, bringing extensive experience across radio, television, digital media, and business development through previous roles with the NHL, Bell Media and the CBC.

Over the past several years, Gabor has helped guide major initiatives across the company while building a strong reputation for strategic thinking, operational leadership, digital innovation, and a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape.

I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Bryan and the entire Vista team for several years, and I have tremendous respect for the company and culture he has shaped.”
